Dr. Mack had visited Bulgaria and asked lots of questions about persons and places of mutual interest. In her formal remarks, Mack contrasted the laws and regulations affecting the work of American and Bulgarian publishers, editors and reporters.

Barbara struck an immediate responsive chord with the participants. She invited the group to come to her house the following day.
