Kurns  compared the focus of the electronic versions of the magazines with the traditional print publications.  He was able to explain strategies Meredith Interactive employs to attract online readers and to attempt to drive those readers to the print magazines.

         

Following this session, the participants toured the Meredith complex, which includes the test kitchen, food props (left) photo and video studios as well as the test gardens (right).
